Nudity on Hawaii's Beaches - gay sex

These were originally posted on a forum topic at DudesNude and reposted on Hawaiinudist (Yahoo group))

While there are no legal nude beaches on Oahu, some guys do lie out on the north shore near the Polo Fields at Mokuleia.
Others lie out at Diamond head below the lighthouse right outside Waikiki. (by Honolulust)

Diamond Head is where I'm standing here (photo above) on January 9th - it was about 4pm and the beach was fairly deserted. You have to be careful though - the beach (below the Lighthouse) is supposed patrolled, although I have never actually seen a police officer - maybe they are plain clothes detectives (but I doubt it). There are too many car thefts per hour in Honolulu for the cops to waste time chasing nudies from the beach.

Of course, there is gay cruising at all hours, but it's usually occurs on the steep hillsides slopes above the beach in the cover of trees and brush in the afternoons and just after sunset.
Another place is the deserted headlands just beyond Sandy Beach out passed Hanauma Bay and the Blow Hole in East Hawaii (Hawaii Kai). Guys sometimes sun themselves nude and there is gay cruising there.
It's not nude but Queen's Surf Beach between the Zoo and Aquarium on Waikiki Beach (across from Kapiolini Park) can be cruisy since dozens of gays hang out there.

If you have a couple of days - take a trip to the other islands. Hawaii (The Big Island) has some 'alternative' beaches (gay cruising and discrete nudity (illegal and patrolled by NPS rangers) at Honokohau-Kaloko National Park (Nature Preserve) just 5 miles north of Kailua-Kona - take the right (north) trail up about 1/2 mile along the
beach to the tres gai section. Kehena Black Sands Beach is very naked and very mixed - but there are invariably gay men who will likely show some interest. Hwy 137 (coastal road from Kalapana to Kapoho) at mile marker 19 (southwest of Hilo beyond Pahao).

The beach on the North Shore (Polo Fields) is much nicer than the diamond head lighthouse beach. The water is clearer, cleaner and much more secluded. At the end of the public access trail, go to the right for the gay nude area. As you walk you will see a bushy wooded area. That's the gay area. You can situate yourself on the beach or in the little areas in the bushes. I 've had some very hot sessions on that beach!

I'm still not sure where that North Shore (Oahu) beach is - Polo Fields at Mokuleia. Is in off of Crozier Dr. (the street closest to the shore) or is it further west out Farrington Hwy? If you don't have a car (a tourist or visitor) would you be out of luck? I mean is it worth take a bus to Waialua and then walking?
